Welcome to the Scottish Fish & Chips Awards.

By registering for this competition, you accept that if your business is shortlisted for the final of the Scottish Fish & Chips Awards you must send a minimum of one representative from your business to attend the Gala Final event.

There is no minimum seat booking required, however representation is essential. Please also note that the Scottish Fish & Chips Awards holds a strict rule that no finalists may sit within a sponsor’s table allowance.

In fairness to the other competitors, if a representative of your business is unable to attend the management have the right to remove your entry from finalist list.

If the event had to be postponed and a new date is set then no refunds will be given

If the event has to be cancelled and a new date is not announced a refund maybe available at the discretion of the management team.

All decisions on refunds will be made at the management’s discretion

You don’t need to trade with any of our official partners to participate.

The judges’ decision is final and, if applicable, we ask for the judges’ visit to be complementary. The Paramount Creative team are independent of the judging process and will not enter into any verbal or written discussion about the final judge’s decision.

Judge’s score cards will be available to view for a total of 7 days after the gala final. After 7 days, all score cards will be archived. After 30 days, all scorecards will be disposed of.

The maximum number of categories that your business can enter is three.

Whilst management accept all constructive feedback, Any business (company or staff member) or individual who continues to bring the awards and or company (Paramount Creative) into disrepute, the management have the right to remove your business from the competition. Any feedback or complaints must be put in writing to the company, no verbal discussions will be entered into by management or staff members.

Conflict of Interest

To ensure fairness, transparency and impartiality throughout the competition, immediate family members of event sponsors, partners or individuals directly associated with the organisation, judging or administration of the awards are not eligible to enter or participate in the competition.

All entrants must declare any actual or potential conflict of interest. The Organisers reserve the right to review eligibility and, where a conflict of interest is identified, refuse entry, disqualify an entrant or withdraw an award at any stage of the competition. All decisions will be made fairly, reasonably and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
